Stopwatch & Timer
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 22, 2026
App: Stopwatch & Timer Developer: AI AppZone Last updated: 22 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Stopwatch & Timer mobile application ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
We have built the App to need as little of your data as possible. The App itself does not require an account, and the stopwatch, timer, lap, and settings data you create stays on your device.
1. Information stored on your device
The following is saved locally on your device only and is not sent to us or anyone else:
- Your stopwatch and timer values, laps, and saved timer presets
- App settings and preferences (sounds, theme/colour, alarm options, etc.)
- Your Premium (ad‑free) status
This data is removed when you uninstall the App.
2. Information collected by third‑party services
The App uses a small number of third‑party services that may collect data to provide their features:
a) Google AdMob (advertising)
We show ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process information such as your device's advertising identifier (AAID/IDFA), IP address, device type and operating system, and general ad‑interaction data. This may be used to show personalised or non‑personalised ads depending on your settings and region.
- Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- How Google uses data from apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
If you purchase the Premium (Remove Ads) upgrade, ads — and the related ad data collection — stop.
b) RevenueCat (purchases)
We use RevenueCat to manage in‑app purchases and subscriptions. When you make or restore a purchase, RevenueCat processes a randomly generated app user ID and purchase/transaction information (such as product purchased, purchase date, and subscription status) received from the app store. RevenueCat does not receive your name or payment card details.
- RevenueCat privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
c) App stores (Apple App Store / Google Play)
Payments are processed by Apple and Google, not by us. Your payment details are handled entirely by the relevant app store under its own privacy policy.
3. How information is used
Information collected by the services above is used to:
- Display and measure advertising (AdMob)
- Provide and validate your purchases / Premium status (RevenueCat, Apple, Google)
- Keep the App working reliably
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Your choices
- Reset / limit ad tracking: You can reset or limit your advertising
identifier in your device settings:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and Apple Advertising
- Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads
- Remove ads entirely: Purchase the Premium (Remove Ads) upgrade.
- Manage subscriptions: Manage or cancel any subscription in your App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) account settings.
5. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us and we will address it.
6. Data retention
We do not store your personal data on our own servers. Data held by the third‑party services above is retained according to their respective policies. Locally stored App data remains until you delete it or uninstall the App.
7. Security
We rely on the security measures of the platforms and services listed above (Apple, Google, AdMob, RevenueCat). No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, but these providers maintain industry‑standard protections.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
